The Inner Self

The word that is inferred here, evidently is To Love. And as a result, we have: understanding, solidarity, tenderness, talent of service and many more that Love gives.
But, there is a crucial aspect, which is also human and divine, and that goes beyond inspiration.

Because most of the times, there is no spiritual talent, or life is not a rose garden, or a perfect circle of meditation and prayer. It is a fifty percent Love and another fifty percent is discipline. And this is telling us that the method is not easy, is not spontaneous or natural complement. It is ferrous and delicate work, at the same time.

Man is a complex being. He may pray in a temple, repent, cry, even kneel asking forgiveness. But tomorrow, or later on, he lies, deceives, and in the name of God, he destroys as much as he can. Then, to keep in touch with the inner world, requires of lucidity. It is necessary to practice philosophy, faith, doctrine, but not thinking that we are going to heaven. The time for this, will come, but we have to recognize that we are on earth and this is a wide and narrow world.

There are so many circumstances and so many variables, that we cannot think or believe that the contact with our inner world is maintained on a philosophy, but by been alert and in touch with Love and good. Not only when we are enamored of Love, but justly, when we don't understand Love, since there are roses and thorns in life. But the contact with our inner world, has to overcome the good and bad moments.

Then, we will reach maturity, confidence, depth and humility. If we look for a lasting good, we have to be attentive and eternal vigilantes, since life has mysteries "to be", to overcome. But the one who wants to keep his bond of Truth and Love, alive, has to love good beyond his own self. The spiritual communion is a discipline of faith, surrender and loyalty.
